Carl Handy (1995) was born in Georgetown, Guyana, to a Dutch immigrant mother, grew up in Georgetown Guyana, and migrated to Antigua and Barbuda in 2015. For three years he was a customer service representative at Grace Kennedy Remittance Service. Presently, he is pursuing a degree in law at the State College in Antigua. His first book, "The Silent Roses," is a poetry collection centered around depression, inspired mostly by his life. In 2012, he graduated from high school and was amongst the honor role winning the Business Award and shortly after in 2014 he completed his online studies in Science and Technology at Atlantic International University earning himself a bachelor's degree.
