If fear was a person,
what would you say to him?
would you say anything at all?
or just run away.
For me its the exact opposite
if fear was person I'd welcome him with open arms,
invite him over for dinner on thanksgiving
thanking him for me sane and heart in tact.
I'd thank him for not allowing me to love,
for not allowing me to go outside when its raining -
or sunny.
Fear has been kind to me,
if it wasn't for him I'd be dead!
Because I fear rolling off my bed I have rails around it like a cradle
Knives are kept out reach
and I fear breaking my teeth so all my utensils are plastics -
Just...like...me.
Who am I kidding here?!
if I met fear I would run,
my bravery is a façade
my smile plastic
And my happiness far from realistic.
